Dit is een samenvatting van de kernpunten van het vak. De kernpunten worden per week besproken. De hoorcolleges, powerpointsslides, de tekst van Adorno, de tekst van Frued, de tekst van de objectification theory en het boek (Henslin: Social problems: A down-to-earth approach) komen naar voren in dit overzicht. Het was een redelijk breed vak. Ik heb het gereduceerd tot de kern de begrippen functionalism conflict theory, symbolic interactionism komen er veel in voor.

De aantekeningen zijn in de taal van het college, er zitten dus een aantal Engelse aantekeningen tussen, maar overwegend Nederlands.
