Wat zijn leucocyten en wat doen ze?
• Cellen met korrels: granulocyten
– Neutrofiele granulocyten: fagocyteren bacteriën
– Eosinofiele granulocyten: cytotoxische enzymen
– Basofiele granulocyten: histamine en heparine
• Grote cellen: monocyten (macrofagen)
Fagocyteren resten van kapotte cellen en bacteriën
• Monocyten en granulocyten: myelocyten, voorstadium
heet myeloblast.
• Kleine cellen met een grote kern: lymfocyten, voorstadium heet lymfoblast
– T – lymfocyten (cellulaire immuniteit)
– B – lymfocyten (humorale immuniteit: antistoffen)
– NK – lymfocyten (natural killers)
• Grote lymfocyten die behoren tot het niet-specifieke afweersysteem
en die een rol spelen bij het doden van cellen.
• Produceren stoffen (bijv. interferon) die worden gebruikt bij de
bestrijding van infecties.
• Zijn constant bezig de cellen die ze tegenkomen te 'scannen' op
weefselkenmerken.
• Vallen cellen aan die andere weefselkenmerken hebben of waarvan
de weefselkenmerken niet goed te scannen zijn met celdodende
enzymen.
Foetale circulatie
• Longen zijn nog niet functioneel, zuurstof
komt van de moeder via de placenta
• Het bloed in de longslagader wordt via de
ductus arteriosus naar de aorta omgeleid en
komt zo in de navelstreng slagaders.
• De navelstrengader komt uit op de onderste
holle ader, waardoor in de onderste holle ader
een min of meer dubbele hoeveelheid bloed
komt te zitten
• Hierdoor krijgt ook de rechter boezem een
min of meer dubbele hoeveelheid bloed,
terwijl de linker boezem vrijwel leeg is.
• Er moet bloed van de rechter naar de linker
boezem via het ovale venster = foramen ovale.
• Het bloed van het kind heeft hemoglobine
(HbF) nodig dat zo sterk is dat het de zuurstof
van het hemoglobine van de moeder af kan
trekken.
• Hierdoor krijgt ook de rechter boezem een
min of meer dubbele hoeveelheid bloed,
terwijl de linker boezem vrijwel leeg is.
• Er moet bloed van de rechter naar de linker
boezem via het ovale venster = foramen ovale.
• Het bloed van het kind heeft hemoglobine
(HbF) nodig dat zo sterk is dat het de zuurstof
van het hemoglobine van de moeder af kan
trekken.
